A lot has happened in the past days in all things cryptocurrencies. In this post, I want to take a quick look at my portfolio and what I think is going to happen in the near and more distant future. Continue reading “#Cryptocoin Updates CW 04 / 2018”
So, for some time now I am again venturing into the space of cryptocurrency coins. The last journey I was on, began 4 years back, when I still was holding 2 mined Bitcoins, which I was trading with on a – for it’s time – very popular exchage named MtGox. If you google this exchange, you will pretty quickly find some angry postings about that. That has a simple reason: It went bankrupt. And with it, it took all the coins people all over the world were investing. For the next four years, I was just following news on bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, but never thought about getting back into the fun.
Well, first things first: Star Wars 8 is not really Star Wars. The only thing that it has in common with the old movies, are several of the original actors. But that’s about it then.
WARNING: This post contains spoilers. If you haven’t seen Star Wars Episode 8 – The Last Jedi yet, don’t read it. If you have, or don’t care about it that much, then go ahead and see what I want to tell you about the latest reboot.
It’s been a year now since I made my entrance into the higher ranks of the Imperium. One of the largest (if not THE largest) player-run organizations in an online game ever seen. The Imperium is a player coalition in EVE-Online. An MMORPG settled in the endless reaches of space. And as unique the setting among all the other competitors may be, as unique are the organizations of people playing this game.
When you’re running an online business, you might know the following thoughts very well. There are good and bad years throughout the lifetime of your project. Whenever you feel like you’re having a good time, everything is going according to your plans or your plannings make it to a successful overall situation, there’s also times in which you have to overthink all possibilities and eventually adjust strategies and ways everything is being handled internally.
Prelude: I am not going to be a personal coach. I am not even trying to be one. The content of this post may vary and your personal experience might differ. I don’t want to give you advice on how to live your life. This post is just a personal reminder on how I want my life to follow a certain path.
First things first. Let me ask you an easy question:
When was the last time you can think of, you were a happy person and really satisfied with your life?
If you have to think about it, to answer this question, you might want to reconsider your life and the way you live it. Your time is already running out. Your life is not going to start “soon” – you are in the middle of it. Your remaining days on earth are finite and if you don’t start living your life how you want it now, you might miss out. I mean, if you are interested in this post, you obviously are already at a point in which you are considering different facts to be stumbling stones.
“What goes around comes around.” That’s like one of those many sentences that try to describe a spiritual concept originating from indian religions. I am talking about karma.
WARNING: This might end up being a depressing post and might trigger some people. Read with caution.
Back in the days, I did posts like this nearly every single month. This won’t be happening again, but I think I will do this every now and then, whenever I feel the need to remark outstanding songs, that I feel like playing several times a day.
On July 28th in 2007 it was set in stone. I wrote my first serious blogpost on my techblog MobilityMagazin.de which, at that time, still was called Eee-PC.de. It is / was a community about the internet-sensation – the small 7-inch laptop which should be available for a very small pricepoint. 249 Euros for a Windows-capable PC – no other company tried this step at that time. A new category of hardware was born – the Netbook.
What followed was a long and still ongoing story of professional blogging. Long before the term “professional blogger” became popular in Germany, I began doing it.
